Our Season : Third weekend in March through the second weekend in November

We host only two weddings per week, one on Saturday and another on Sunday, regardless of size. This policy guarantees every wedding our full attention, and the ability to produce a relaxed experience free of strict time restraints. The extensive preparation of the property and facilities is a week long process, culminating in our weekend's incomparable wedding celebrations.

The venue is located about an hour and a half north of Atlanta … in the gorgeous Mountains of North Georgia. The resort towns of Cleveland, Dahlonega, and Helen are less than 20 minutes from the property in all directions.

Tours are by appointment only

All visits to the Farm, including Tours, must be scheduled in advance. Once a couple has had a chance to review the information provided on our website https://www.neverlandfarms.com/ … and has submitted an Inquiry Form … the owner will provide further details. Assuming everything suits your wedding vision and budget, a tour will be scheduled and hosted personally by the Owner (Suzy Tebor) or Venue Director (Nora Mendoza).

Transportation restrictions

The vast majority of Neverland guests drive to the property. There is ample monitored parking on property within a very short walk of the Ceremony site. Access to the Venue is via a one way road … so all traffic is one way in until after the ceremony … then one way out. Taxis and Ubers are not permitted on the property, due to ingress and egress. Some couples opt to provide transportation for some guests. This local service is coordinated by Neverland. Contracted transportation will arrive one hour prior to ceremony, and will leave at the end of the reception. Multiple trip “shuttle” type transportation is not feasible due to distance and access.

Ceremony timing based on the seasons

Most Neverland wedding ceremonies are held late afternoon, and last less than a half hour. The Director will recommend the perfect time, based on the time of the year. We follow the sun … in order to capture the gorgeous afternoon light on the Arbor setting. Guests are invited to arrive an hour early to enjoy the venue. The wedding site is open air, and super shady. The Wedding Barn provides cover and amenities for guests pre-ceremony.

Rehearsals for Saturday weddings only

Due to the fact that we coordinate and direct every wedding ceremony, rehearsals are not essential. But we offer a casual wedding party walk-through as a complimentary service for our full price Saturday weddings. Held Friday afternoon at 3:00 … it is attended by parents and wedding party only. Officiant too, if available. There will be plenty of time to return to lodging and rest up before Rehearsal Dinner. REHEARSAL DINNERS ARE NOT HELD AT NEVERLAND.

Reception (The Party)

Immediately following the ceremony, the guests stroll the short distance to Dan’s Hall … to enjoy the music, the appetizers, the bar, and each other. The newlyweds will be off alone for final photos during this time. You have your choice of the Standard 4 Hour Reception … or can add a half or entire hour to the experience if you like. Receptions with live bands are required to add the 5th hour. The reception time begins when the first guests enter the Hall.

250 guest maximum capacity

Although the facilities are very large, we recommend no more than 250 guests. There is no minimum, since the facility is designed to adapt as beautifully for the tiny wedding as it does for the very large. However minimum pricing for Saturday weddings is based on 100 guests. Smaller weddings can pay a premium to book a Saturday, or can opt for a Sunday with more flexible, discounted rates.

Accessibility

If a guest arrives with a wheelchair or walker, our team will assist and make them comfortable at the Wedding Barn. Restrooms there are 1 step up. Post ceremony, our team will drive them from the ceremony site to the Hall – which is completely accessible.

Young ones

The venue is large and enticing, so keep a watchful eye. We do not provide high chairs or special children’s menu. But we love having the wee ones here.

There is no lodging on the property

A wide variety of lodging facilities are located 2 – 20 minutes from the Farm. Everyone in the Wedding Party arrives on property fully dressed … except the Bride. The owner’s cabin on property is enjoyed by the Bride, her Mom and Bridesmaids before the ceremony for relaxation and photography...beginning with the Bride’s Dressing Ritual. We are happy to coach you re lodging needs for your group. Typically the couple, entire wedding party, families, and out-of-town guests stay in the immediate area.

Rainy days

Factored in to the facility’s unique operational design is the option to bring the ceremony inside Dan’s Hall if rain dictates. Like a giant umbrella, the Big Hall shelters everyone, without diminishing the vistas to the land. This decision can be made at the very last minute, instead of days in advance. Therefore, it is a very rare occurrence that a Neverland ceremony takes place under roof. We can usually dodge a shower and continue outdoors as planned.

Our In-House services

A venue’s reputation is hard-earned and priceless. For that reason, and the following, key wedding services must be provided exclusively by Neverland Farms.

Hospitality

Due to logistics and complexity, it is necessary for the long list of Neverland’s venue-specific services to be coordinated and performed in-house. The venue preparation schedule needs to inherently flex with weather conditions. Final set up and decor finishes cannot be done until a few short hours before ceremony time. And the facilities must be returned to pre-wedding condition immediately following the event. This is all seamlessly handled by Neverlanders.

Catering

The #1 reason that we cater our own weddings is that our House Chefs (and their amazing team) are responsible for Neverland's “incredible wedding food” reputation. We cook fresh, on the day of the wedding, for one wedding only. This is a luxury – but ensures fabulous quality. Food, beverage and cake service can be integrated with flexibility into the flow of the 4 to 5 hour reception ... because we do everything here ... without tight schedules ... and with our special brand of customer service.

Alcohol

Neverland serves beer, wine and champagne only...which we feel is the best decision for a remote venue nestled in the mountains, without the option of Uber or Taxis. In creating our per person pricing for the bar, we eliminated the consumption factors at both ends of the spectrum (non drinkers to heavy) … arriving at a price that, although assessed for every person attending, is actually based on the middle range. The alcohol itself is the least expensive part of the overall cost of having a house bar. Especially for a venue that hosts a limited number of events per year. Licenses, permits, taxes, insurance, bar furniture, decor, cooling equipment, ice, beverage ecoware, bartenders, and support labor comprise the bulk of the cost of a full service bar. In order to offer this costly service, we must provide it. And do so at a great value. Outside alcohol is not an option.

What’s Included

Planning, coordination & direction

Your wedding will be personally planned, coordinated and directed by the venue’s Owner and Director ... Co Founders Suzy and Nora track every detail from tours through Sparkler Farewell. A comprehensive Planning Guide will track the event’s progress from booking to wedding day. Many hours will be devoted to organization and private meetings, so that when your day arrives – you can simply enjoy. In person meetings are scheduled from March through the end of November ... phone meetings December to March. From Rehearsal through Reception, we will direct the action.

Prep & wrap-up

The unique challenges of preparing a large, complicated outdoor venue takes a seasoned team, and very long days leading up to, and following, every wedding. The combined efforts of Neverland's Landscape & Facilities Preparation/Wrap-up Team, the Owner's décor & Special Effects Team, and the director's Hosting Team... make it all appear effortless.

House décor package

This amenity distinguishes Neverland Farms from all other outdoor venues. The facilities are brimming with hundreds of live plants and ferns...under string lit beams. The guest tables and buffet feature coordinated gun metal candelabras and antique lanterns. Fresh flower arrangements by the owner brighten the cake table, restrooms, and other corners of the Hall. The Hall is designed to be fabulous without any additional décor. But all brides are encouraged to personalize the Hall décor to suit their vision. Whether this is favors, signage, photographs, special florals, etc … the execution is all in the hands of the Neverland team.

Guest hosting services

Producing a wedding on a large property requires an experienced team...and Neverland Farms has the best! Over the past twenty two years, our veteran hosting team has fine-tuned the Neverland experience, resulting in a quietly orchestrated, magical event. Guests will be greeted as they arrive, directed to parking, and catered to for the duration of the event. Producing a Neverland wedding is never left to amateurs or volunteers!

Full service catering

Catering a wedding celebration begins when the bride and her party arrive on property, and continues until the last piece of cake is served. The buffet may be the highlight, but there's a great deal of catering activity before and after. Because we do everything in house, service can be flexible and exceptional.

Saturday vs Sunday

The limited Saturdays in our season are our lifeblood, so Saturday pricing is based on a 100 guest minimum for venue, catering and alcohol. Smaller weddings can also book a Saturday, but at the minimum pricing. Weddings held on Sundays enjoy an automatic $2000 discount … full service with 100 guests minimum. Exactly the same experience as our Saturday weddings – but without rehearsal, and at a bargain.

Saturday discounts

If you are planning your wedding with a lead time of less than 6 months … you can book one of our available Saturdays within that time frame , and enjoy a $2000 discount!

Sunday weddings with less than 100 guests

We love hosting smaller weddings whenever possible. The venue has been carefully designed to adapt to even tiny weddings, without losing the intimacy. But because so very much of our work is exactly the same, regardless of the number of guests, we can best pull it off on Sundays, when we can take advantage of a few labor savings due to the wedding the day before. Partner Vendors

We recommend a select list of extremely talented and reliable vendors (photographers, videographers, bakers, DJs, musicians, florists, lodging and transportation) to provide those services not offered by Neverland. You can choose from our list, or select your own. There are venue-specific requirements and stipulations for each type of vendor (arrival time, set up and breakdown, etc). So be sure to consult with us before contracting with an outside vendor. Neverland coaches and coordinates with the vendors you select.

Deposits and payments

A $1000 deposit is required with the contract to secure a date. Subsequent payments will be due at the 6-month prior mark, 90 days prior, and 3 weeks prior. All payments, once made, are non refundable. Personal or Cashier's checks are preferred.

Gratuities

All Neverland pricing is INCLUSIVE ... no service charges are assessed. We do not purchase anything tax exempt other than alcohol ... so sales tax is factored in to that package only. GRATUITIES are NOT included in Neverland pricing. We feel that gratuities should be offered based on the experience delivered. It’s up to you. Gratuity is based on the entire venue experience ... paid directly to the Venue Director ... and shared equally by the 15 person veteran team that produces and hosts every wedding.
